Sleeping in Corsica? Maison Simonpietri recommends the Mirto Room. The name of the room is inspired by the name of Myrtus communis, an aromatic evergreen plant typical of the Mediterranean maquis blooming in the wild, especially widespread across Corsica and Sardinia.
The Mirto Room is the one with the most beautiful view of Maison Simonpietri. The bedroom window faces north overlooking the village below, while the French door facing east leads to the terrace with a splendid panoramic view of Capraia island.
The view of the sea recalls the periwinkle blue of the bedroom walls that, together with the mansard roof, give its guests the feeling of being on a boat.
The furniture of this room includes a double bed, a single bed, and a small armchair that turns into a kids’ bed.
